    From Oakville, ON, Jack brings winning experience from all avenues of sailing. Racing boats such as Etchells, Melges 32, J70 and more, Jack blends a classic racing style with high-performance technique that makes him our ‘boat-speed magician’.

    Notable Events: Oakcliff Halloween Invitational ‘23

    Tate is from Toronto, ON, and although newer to the keelboat scene than most of the other sailors on True North, brings experience from all other areas of her high performance sailing career. Having worked alongside SailGP Canada as shore team, Tate brings an expertise and high level of professionalism to the racecourse rarely seen at the Youth level.

    Notable events: EDHEC Sailing Cup ‘23, RVYC HP Elliot 6m, Round the County.

    Sophia is well known in Vancouver for her top-notch bow skills. Beyond that however, Sophia brings impressive onboard communication skills and puff-calling, an invaluable skill on any boat. Sophia leads from the bow, and is always having good time while she does so.

    Notable Events: Governor’s Cup ‘23, Youth Match Race Worlds ‘23, EDHEC Sailing Cup ‘23.

    Originally from Thousand Oaks, CA, Richard is a versatile trimmer and tactician, with a wide array of winning experience. Recently Richard has been working into the Match Racing scene as a skipper, competing in events such as the Harken Youth MR and the Youth MR Worlds this past December.
